This year, I was thinking how warm and early spring seemed to be arriving, but in just two days, we had a heavy snowfall, and it piled up like it was December all over again!

Today, I’d like to introduce our Junmai Ginjo Hanami Sake, currently available from Daisen City in Akita Prefecture.

This Junmai Ginjo Sake, made with Akita-grown rice and Akita’s Komachi yeast SP, is rich in aroma with a gentle umami flavor that leaves a lasting impression.
Fun fact—the sakura design printed on the bottle was drawn by me! I created it with the image of cherry blossoms at night reflected on the surface of a river.
The soft fragrance of this sake makes it one of my personal favorites. With the early bloom this year, stock is running low.
