Hello, it’s Yoko.
I recently traveled to San Francisco in late September and Paris in early October for business. Each trip had a different purpose, but I met many wonderful people along the way. I hope to share more details with you soon.
San Francisco holds a special place in my heart, thanks to my three-week stay when I was 18, filled with countless sparkling memories. This time, I attended Sake Day for the first time and was amazed by the long line that wrapped around the hotel. The many questions from locals showed their deep interest in sake—it was a night full of passion and enthusiasm. It feels like those sparkling, heart-pounding moments are starting again in San Francisco.
In Paris, I spent three days working with a Kioko Foods representative, visiting clients even on rare rainy days, which are unusual in Paris, sometimes without taking a lunch break. I’m excited about the potential for new opportunities! At the last-minute tasting event held at the Opera store, I greeted customers with a cheerful “Bonjour,” alongside a stuffed Akita dog, thanks to the thoughtful arrangement by the store staff. As I saw the sake being placed into shopping baskets, I sent them off with a heartfelt “Bon Voyage!” and returned home with a sense of pride.
Thanks to the support of so many people, Hideyoshi’s sake is gradually making its way overseas. To those who brew it, those who bring it to life as a product, those who handle office work and sales, the restaurants, and of course, our wonderful customers—ARIGATO!
Thank you so much! & Merci beaucoup!
